The Nutrition Program was launched to improve Mother and Child health through Nutritional Interventions in order to reduce mortalities caused by Malnourishment.
Under the Integrated Health Program (IHP), 474 Out Patient Therapeutic Sites (OTP) have been established to treat Severe Acute Malnourished (SAM) Children. In addition, 22 Stabilization Centers have also been established to treat SAM Children with medical complications.
